DRESDEN GREEN II watch series about the history of the world's largest green diamond in the Dresden Green Arch.
In the Dresden Green Arch, the "Königlich Sächsische Wunderkammer", has rested since 1742, the largest green diamond in the world, the "Dresden Green" (raw mass 119 carat, cut 41 carat). August II of Saxony (also August III of Poland) brought this stone to Dresden, which was originally purchased in London and comes from India or Brazil. The original Kursaxon coat of arms from 1742, derived from original Friedrich August's writing to the royal secret advice, and a green 1.3 mm large diamond adorn the dial of the watch series Dresden Green II. The full history and information about the green diamonds can be found in the brochure download at www.kronsegler.de and in the booklet for the watch.
The DRESDEN GREEN II is the sequel to the limited automatic series Dresden Green from 2007. The watch has a polished 316L stainless steel case with radially graduated bezel in steel or Yellow or rose gold plating. There are two model sizes in 3 colour variations - in the men's or Unisex version with 41 mm diameter and 10 mm thickness, in the women's version with 36 mm diameter and 9.5 mm thickness. The cases are equipped with the toughest and most scratch-resistant K1 glass. The dial of the men/unisex version is silver-white guilloched, very finely scaled and carries the inscriptions "Dresden Green" and the Kursaxon coat of arms with the subtext "Königlich Sächsische Wunderkammer 1742". The indices are made of applied Roman numerals. Highlight of the watch is a set green diamond with 1.3 mm size. The hands are skeletonised diamond cut and mounted. The central extra-long second hand carries a KronSegler crown coat of arms at the short end. The women's version is designed in the same way, but with a dial made of real mother of pearl and luminous hands. The indexing is printed in Arabic numerals. The screwed watch back made of 316L stainless steel is engraved or etched with the two crests. The watches are equipped with padded cowhide leather straps with alligator embossing, which can be easily changed with a quick release bar.
The watch is delivered in a green long box with golden coat of arms and a detailed 20-page brochure on history, origin, creation and operating instructions as well as a numbered certificate card and diamond passport.
