The journey shows that he is not willing to give up which is a good trait to have. Each illustration is a double bul,frog spread with vivid colors and unique detail of the bumblebees and their habitat, which adds an extra level of insight to what bullfeog life of a bullfrog looks like.

Bullfrog is ready to find a spot of his own where he will use his deep, croaking song to attract a mate.

It starts out with spring beginning, the bullfrog emerging from the winter, and beautiful imagery of the swampy environment, which is accompanied by illustrations that seem like a mix of rich and vivid water color and acrylic.

This book is quite diverse in it’s potential classroom use. Reviewed by the Smithsonian Institution for accuracy, Bullfrog at Magnolia Circle is a fun and informative story with beautifully detailed illustrations. I did not love it though. The frog is funny and also doesn’t let anything get in his way.
